Keratin tipped extensions are also called fusion extensions; they are applied by a heat method using a hair extension iron which fuses the keratin onto the client's hair. The heat will not cause dammage because it only touches the hair for a few seconds. Fusion hair extensions are the most popular method and the longest lasting.  U-tipped fusion extensions, are available in 909 European Extensions and 808 European Blend Extensions.

I-tip extensions are attached using micro rings. The client's hair is pulled through a micro ring using a pulling hook or loop. The tip of the I-tip extension is then inserted into the ring and the micro ring is compressed – thus holding the extension in the hair. This is also called “cold fusion”.
