Curly Q Hair Extensions - How to find natural curly or wavy hair extensions

A common question we are asked at Vision is “Do you have curly hair extensions?” The answer is: “Yes“ with a big “but…”

The issue with many curly hair extensions is that the curl is chemically added, permed, into already processed hair. All commercially made curly extensions originally were a very dark brown. This hair must be lightened and toned to achieve the beautiful colors everyone wants. Now if there is a chemical curl added to this you can expect very dry hair, especially in the lighter colors.

The suggestion I make is to choose a company that uses Indian hair. Indian hair tends to have a natural wave, even curl. By using Indian hair you get curl or wave without the extra process.

At Vision Hair Extensions we have 2 brands that use naturally wavy Indian hair.

• Euro Socap – comes straight in the package but waves up after wash. If you have a client with wavy hair we suggest washing the extensions before application, scrunch the hair then let it dry before applying to your wavy hair client. This is so they won’t get nervous about the straight appearance.
• Q Indian – Vision imports Q Indian Temple Hair Extensions directly from the source in India. This hair has a beachy texture and is a great addition for wavy/frizzy type hair.
• Curly Q Hair Extensions – Same as Q Indian but much curlier. Our Curly Q hair extensions only come in 2 shades #1B & #2. 100% virgin, it has never been colored. Can be colored or toned. These are the perfect keratin hair extensions for naturally curly hair if keratin bonding is what you want.

We also have 2 brands with a chemical permed in curl. These are fine in the darker colors #1, #1B, #2, #3, #4 but beware of the light colors. Can be very dry.

• Donna Bella curly hair. The dark colors are fine
• 808 Deep Wave

Note: Donna Bella uses Indian hair for their extensions, but they only use the straightest Indian hair they can source. We recommend Donna Bella hair for people who have straighter hair.
